FAREWELL!

The bloggers this year have had a great time posting things that have hopefully been helpful to other students. Our experience this year as bloggers, and students at Sutherland middle school has been wonderful. We hope that the new sixth, seventh, and eighth graders next year will have as much fun as we eighth graders did this year. One piece of advice that we would give to upcoming sixth, seventh, or eighth graders is don't be lazy, and try to always get your work in on time so you don't fall behind. Being in the Sutherland blog has been a awesome experience that we will never forget!

Food Drive for Food Bank

Sutherland is collecting food for the Food Bank! Please bring in canned food to drop in the large cans outside each grade level wing. We will be collecting food until March 4. Remember that Spirit Week is coming up! Here is the schedule: Monday : Crazy Hair Day Tuesday : Jersey Day Wednesday : Hippie Day Thursday : Black Out Day There will be a pep rally on that Thursday, the 30th. Remember that Friday is off!

7th Grade Cell Analogy Projects

Students in 7th grade science have finished working on their cell analogy projects.  They had the choice of 5 different projects or the option to create their own project.  The students were very creative in developing all different types of projects including a rap music video, a Mine Craft map, a play mobile airport, movie of a One Direction concert, and a cell game.  Here are just some of the projects created by the students.
