The Albemarle Jazz Band

Last Monday, April 15th, the Albemarle Jazz Band came to perform for the Sutherland students.  It was a great performance and we enjoyed it a lot.  To start the show, the band members stood in the stands with our students to give the feeling of them being a part of the performance.  It was exciting to see Sutherland alumni coming back to school to perform.  Thank you to all band members who came to Sutherland and gave us a great show!

Food Drive for Food Bank

Sutherland is collecting food for the Food Bank! Please bring in canned food to drop in the large cans outside each grade level wing. We will be collecting food until March 4. Remember that Spirit Week is coming up! Here is the schedule: Monday : Crazy Hair Day Tuesday : Jersey Day Wednesday : Hippie Day Thursday : Black Out Day There will be a pep rally on that Thursday, the 30th. Remember that Friday is off!
